London (2021)

I took this photo last weekend whilst visiting the capital for the day.

I wanted to highlight the hearts on the wall outside St Thomas’ hospital as each has been drawn to represent a loved one lost to Covid.

This is the same hospital that Prime Minister Boris Johnson was treated in when he had covid.

I don’t think any of us could have predicted such a feature but, in a way, I am glad it’s there. It reminds us of this awful moment in our history. It also reminds us of those we have lost and those that are lucky enough to still be here.

A wall is covered in red hearts painted on by the public to represent those lost to Covid 19.
