Whilst travelling around Thailand I was amazed by the scale of the rice farmers and also surprised (nieve) about the equipment they used or the methods of growing, harvesting and drying out the rice.
To my Western eyes this all looked outdated but it works!
I love the vehicles the farmers were driving and especially the way they decorated them.
I happened to grab this shot whilst we were driving from Chiang Mai to Sukhothai.
