Thai Museum of Floral Culture

A photo of a Spider Hibiscus flower I saw at the Bangkok Museum of Floral Culture

An unusual and unexpected day trip was to the Museum of Floral Culture in Bangkok.

I didn’t know what to expect but was very pleased we visited. It is a wonderful record of the use and importance of flora in Thai life.

Whilst browsing the gardens I noticed these beautiful flowers in some hedges and had to capture them. This is a Spider Hibiscus flower.

They were very delicate and caught the light wonderfully.

If you visit Bangkok I highly recommend you take the time to visit the Museum, chill out in the grounds and unwind in this wonderful and unexpected oasis.
