…and we have lift off

Hyde Hall was a buzz of activity yesterday (sorry). The bees were making the most of all the spring blooms.

I took a chance with the manual lens as it was a bit breezy.

I’m really pleased with this photo. Not only is the flower and the bee in focus, the colour rendition is great and the vintage lens achieves great bokeh.
