A Tale of Two Cities

I’ve finally managed to get my hands on an original Ricoh GRII.

After reading lots of reviews and watching videos from Mattias Burling I am thrilled to have obtained this pocket wonder.

It’s highly regarded as a great street photography camera and is well known for its sharp lens and great reproduction of colours.

It’s also very configurable so you can set it exactly as you like.

This is a test snap from my commute home and is straight out of the camera.

I’ve set it up for black and white but love the colours straight from the camera in this dng.

I purchased the original 10 Megapixel version from eBay and it was an absolute bargain.

This is another shot from my commute which I have converted back to black and white from the dng using the Lightroom present.

This camera is also tiny so I’ll have no excuse for not keeping it in my bag or pocket.
