I have entered another Photography competition – this time, Art on a Postcard.
The Hepatitis C Trust’s fundraising arm, Art on a Postcard will transform into Photography on a Postcard for the month of October. We plan to replicate the success we’ve had in the art world with photography and we are looking for upcoming talent to show alongside Martin Parr, Dougie Wallace, Edmund Clark, Tom Hunter, Simon Norfolk, Chris Steele Perkins, Jenny Lewis, Homer Sykes, Eleanor Macnair, David Hoffman and many many more well known and loved photographers.
We are looking for fashion, fine art, reportage and street photography. Liz Collins and Dougie Wallace will be sitting on the judging panel along with industry experts from Art on a Postcard and theprintspace.
When you purchase a ticket to the exhibition, you will be guaranteed a photograph on a postcard but won’t know if it is from an amateur or a professional such as Martin Parr.
The owner doesn’t know who the photographer is until the show closes and will receive a signed certificate of authenticity.
As the topic is Street Photography and fashion I have entered two of my favourite photographs from shooting members of the public around London:
Why not enter the competition? If you’re not a photographer, why not visit the exhibition? You may walk away with a photo from an acclaimed photographer (or me!). Wish me luck.

(I could dream of being as good as Martin Parr but that’s as far as it goes!)
