Ok so I am a week into using my Nike+ Fuelband and am not sure if I have made a crucial mistake on my first week…
I set my goal to 3000 points which is the expected measure for some activity but not being a sportsman… I crushed this target on my first and second day and won a couple achievement badges for my efforts.
I decided this may be too easy so I raised my goal to 5000 points and am breaking this quite easily too.
I'm not however seeing many goals or badges for my efforts and wondered if I have gone about this the wrong way?
What is the motivation, or which is more motivating..? Breaking my daily goal or receiving more accolades a day once you have broken your goal?
I'm inclined to believe its the latter and have therefore reduced my target back to 3000 from tomorrow.
Do you have a Fuelband? Even if you don't, what would you find would drive you more? Knowing you can break you goal consistently or breaking it with relative ease and collecting more rewards?
