Discovering Prehistoric Artifacts during Leica Akademie Photo Walk

“It’s a dinosaur”

During our Leica Akademie photowalk, we stumbled upon the David Aaron Gallery. Initially, we were photographing one of the busts, aiming to capture intriguing reflections.

The gallery team graciously invited us to explore the artifacts on display, giving us free rein for a while. Among the fascinating pieces was a prehistoric dinosaur skull. Unfortunately, our guide couldn’t recall which species it belonged to.

It’s a dinosaur – Leica D-Lux 8, 1/20, f/5.6, ISO 400, 10.9mm

This skull provided a captivating subject for studying light and shadow, and I love how it seems to float within the frame.

(According to the David Aaron website, this is a Edmontosaurus Skull).
