Not your average view and not your average location.
This is the view across the shingle spit of Orford Ness to the Black Beacon.
Orford Ness has a rich military history, having been used for secret military testing and experiments in the 20th century. During both World Wars and the Cold War, it was a key site for testing radar technology, aerial bombing, and atomic weapons.
The window is in one of the watch towers but what it was watching is largely known.

I love the atmosphere of the Ness and am happy I decided to shoot the day in black and white, even though it was a gloriously sunny day.
