We are staying in a new apartment block in Spain and I love the modern architecture. There are so many sharp lines, big windows and consideration about light and maximising the view.
The second bedroom and the laundry are in the interior of the building and although they have windows, they open to a closed atritum which looks out to everyone elses’ back bedrooms and laundry rooms.
It’s a great way of bringing light into the center of the building but not so great if your bedroom overlooks a white wall.
It makes for an interesting composition though…
