London (2014)

I have been back into the office a few times and it feels strange, interesting and oddly familiar to be back in the capital.

Of course, things are not the same. Anti-Covid measures are in place and the environment in which you travel and work is different from before, however, it’s good to feel some familiarity.

This led me to consider the photographs I have captured in London over the years and I wondered if there were any favourites I might not have shared.

Instantly this photo lept out at me.

I took this on the South Bank when there was a football tournament underway. It took this way back in 2014 however, I like the contrast of scale of the workman and the footballer. (Googling this tell’s me the World Cup was held in 2014).
