Landscape shot taken in Suffolk England

Moody Minsmere

Here are a few things I learnt on my first proper day out with my X-T4…

  1. Continuous shooting fills up your SD cards very quickly
  2. Nailing focus is great but don’t rush it
  3. Disable the Bluetooth button from the button panel as gloves switch it on and off accidentally
  4. Polarising filters are great but on cloudy days, take them off

It was an interesting morning shooting and a welcome relief to get out and about.

Of all my shots from the day at Minsmere, this is my favourite.

I know the highlights are blown in the water but I like the contrast against the moody sky.

It almost feels like the sky and the sea were from different days but I can confirm that the weather conditions were very changeable which made for some dramatic views yesterday.
