VJ Day 75th Anniversary

So many lives were lost to build the Burma Thailand railway and the bridge over the Kanchanaburi (River Kwai).

The bridge is a poignant reminder of all those lost to this terrible episode of WWII.

I took this with a long exposure using the Pen f during our trip to Thailand last year.

We visited Kanchanaburi as both of us had grandfather’s who served in the Burma Thailand conflict.
