#TBT Rested

This candid capture was taken during a lunchtime walk. It was shot under the Millennium Bridge and is another I have revisited.

Originally I shot this black and white and cropped into the stairs but decided to widen the view.

Whilst browsing Lightroom I noticed there is more action in the wider shot which gives the photo more context.

I also decided to enhance the colour from the original to make the photo pop.

I like the mix of light and shade in this photo.

I also like the difference in the activity between the runner whose flacked out on the steps and the workers wandering around the embankment oblivious.

I shot this on the Fujifilm X70.

It’s a refreshing take on the original photograph which I am glad to have revisited.
