Ronda and Acinipo

We had a day away from the coast and did the long windy drive to Ronda. 

It’s been several years since we last visited but it’s such a lovely place, we had to go back. 

This time as well as the old town, the views of the gorge, the balcony and bullring… We also visited the site of the Arab Baths which were fascinating (and very cool in the heat of the day).  

Following a long relaxing day in Ronda we decided to try to find Acinipo which was where the first settlers (Romans) set up camp and built a town before Ronda was formed.  

Sadly we arrived late as it was hard to find but what we could see of the settlement was magnificent.  We are sure to return.
