Sunday afternoon we decided to go for a walk around Flatford Mill which is where John Constable painted the Hay Wain.

I love it here – such a lovely spot and you can see why Constable chose to paint such a beautiful spot.

The river was the highest and the fastest I have ever seen it.   I am glad we did not walk from Dedham as the fields were flooded.

I like the subtle reflections in the river which I think make it suitable for this weeks Dogwood photography challenge.
