It’s that time of year and it’s one I both look forward to an am a little worried about – decorating the house for Christmas.
I’m worried as it’s Tilly’s First Christmas and we do not know how she will react to all the decorations and changes – she has already tried to chew the box the decorations came in. Currently it’s very windy here so she’s snuggled up on the arm-chair with me looking at the tree.
Every year I am reminded of places visited, friends and occasions which I pull out the decorations as they remind us of so much.
We took the decorations out of the attic but we were worried as a wasp appeared from nowehere! I did run into the garden with one box as I thought it had another wasp in it – thankfully it didn’t!
From the crab surfing from Tofino, Father Christmas selling hot dogs from a NYC, Brandy and Jerry immortalised in baubles and moustached baubles – they all bring back such wonderful memories.
This year we have added lots of new memories as we have purchased decorations from New York, Germany, Clarence House and various places with friends and family.
Our underlining theme this year is Peanuts as we both love Charlie Brown and could not resist festooning the tree with Charlie Brown and his Christmas Tree, the Red Baron flying his kennel and Snoopy and Woodstock exchanging gifts 🙂
This video captures us decking our halls and shows off our new baubles and decorations from 2015.
Enjoy!

Its absolutely beautiful. You sure have outdone yourself. Out new little cat is going to pull the entire tree down. She is fascinated with all the spartkle stuff so tomorrow I will Attempt puting up the tree and the other goodies. Ivan

Thank you.
Tilly has since tried to chew a branch. I think I’m more worried about her eating the tree than knocking it over!
