As you may know I ran the Mo’ Run a couple years ago in support of Alzheimer’s Society here in the UK. This was due to very personal reasons as my gran was diagnosed with late onset dementia just before she passed away.
The Alzheimer’s Society have just launched their new Dementia Friend campaign which is inviting people to sign up and become a friend of dementia – to understand what it is to live with dementia, to find out how you can help and how some patience and small steps can go a long way to help those suffering from the symptoms.
