For my first 10K I am running in the MoRunning run at Greenwich Park in London on the 25th November.
Entering the race means my £20 entry fee goes directly to the Movember Prostate Cancer charity.
I am raising money for Alzheimer's Society although it is not obligatory to raise any money for charity on this run.
It's also not obligatory to grow a moustache for the run but that's part of the fun of taking part.
I could quite easily grow a moustache as a I have a heavy beard. My concern is that I look like an Army Sargent Major when I sport a furry top lip!
I've been advised not to shave by my doctor as an attempt to clear up a long standing skin condition. In a week I have managed to gain quite a bit of growth on my face as you can see..

Now the question is should I grow a moustache for the run and what style? (If I manage to grow enough to sculpt it that is!)
I used an app to simulate some possible styles as follows:

See I told you it was scary!
I am sure I could grow all of these and I have sported a goatee on many an occasion but nothing as funky as image one or as George Michael as image four!
Photo two illustrates what I mean by the Army Sergeant Major look and it's maybe a bit Inspector Clouseau too!
Three looks like I have a top lip full of pubes so this isn't a style I would favour..l
What do you think? Should I sport a Mo for the run at the end of November? (If yes I need to think about when I stop shaving my top lip).
I'm not sure Richard and Brandy would like a more facially hirsute version of me!
