We tried to go to the coast today but didn’t quite make it due to the traffic. We diverted and drove down to Audley End.
It was surprisingly quiet which was great as we enjoyed a lovely peaceful morning in the grounds.
I’ve tried to capture the tranquility of the gardens and dedicate this video to my baby.
They were filming in the house today. Possibly for Downtown Abbey or Upstairs Downstairs. It’d be great to see such a grand place on film.
We have been very lucky today. On the drive back we got caught in a torrential down pour and yet when we arrived home it was sunny and dry. For once the weather is on our side!
Thankfully it’s not been as hot and humid today as the thermometer in the car read 33.5 degrees yesterday!
